If you would like to book a place on these courses
or have any questions please contact Catherine.

The potager is about quarter of an acre of raised beds, enough to feed a family of 4 with minimum labour, approx 3 hours per week. Hours depend on the time of year, being the most intense in March and April.
In this one day course Catherine teaches how to plan your garden from scratch, how to divide the garden for rotation, how to plan your vegetable family groups, make cropping plans, talk through seed varieties. One of the best things Catherine can do is show you some of the labour saving techniques in practice. Having worked with some of the best vegetable growers in commercial organic production she feels very confident that she can show you a wide range of techniques and talk through some of the problems you may have encountered while trying to grow past crops.
You can organise your own groups or come at one of the key dates which Catherine has set. For information on these dates contact Catherine. The groups are kept very small to enable individual attention. Home made lunch is provided.
Sorry, I've currently no tutorial dates
"I spent 5 years working with commercial organic production and running our own market garden on 2 acres. Prior to that I graduated with an Msc from Reading in Horticulture and have a background in Art and agriculture. I now have more than 20 years experience of growing vegetables for the family.
Growing food is a real passion of mine, which is now integrated into my everyday life. Now I only have a domestic garden I have time to explore the cooking and eating of it, sharing with friends are all part of the joy.
I hope to inspire you to manage your garden efficiently and confidently to know you can produce high quality crops in a sustainable way."
