green bean is an organic company operating from a restored 2 acre site within the Ducker family farm at Little Stoke. We grow high quality vegetable, flowers and herbs, using traditional methods and in line with sound environmental principles.

The philosophy at the heart of the garden and of the techniques taught is care for the environment, wildlife and soil. We are certified by the Soil Association.

The garden is an ever-evolving project that supplies organic vegetables locally via a box scheme as well as providing a perfect environment in which to run a variety of courses.
 
The site is divided between a market garden, which supplies the box scheme, and the learning garden, which provides a living example of the techniques and principles covered by the courses.
